Are your car or truck seats showing their age? Call us!
We do repairs of any size — partial or full, small to large — and can do a complete rebuild of any seat.
We can repair or replace all interior upholstery with a wide choice of materials — leather, vinyl, body cloth, woven vinyls and tweeds in hundreds of colors and finishes. Custom materials can also be made. We can also use customer-supplied materials or kits, which can be a cost-effective way to refurbish a classic car with authentic materials and styling. The seat below was done from a kit.
Examples of Custom Interiors
We can do complete restorations of classic cars using modern materials. Vinyl and cloth can be sewn in the original style to look as good as new.
The late 60’s Impala below used exotic materials with a hammered finish for the insert, and plain white vinyl for the trim. The logo was embroidered on a piece of that trim, then fitted into place.
The embroidered Harley Davidson logo was supplied by the customer, and incorporated into this truck seat when the seat was rebuilt.
Steps in the Process of a Complete Classic Seat Rebuild
This classic car seat needed reupholstering. It was stripped down to the springs, and checked for damage. The frame could have been welded, and broken springs replaced if necessary. Padding is layered over the springs to keep the foam from sinking into the springs, a step that would not be necessary in a modern seat. Then foam is applied, and the final covering put into place.
